A few things

I saw on the weather report last week that it was supposed to warm up this week and I was a little sad. And worst yet, he was right for a change ( I have discovered one universal truth in my travels so far..everyone one must get their weather forecast from the same fortune teller because the forecast are at best 50/50 anywhere I travel). So the temperature has risen above zero and the snow has begun to melt. Too bad.

Paul and Allie have arrived as volunteers. They are a British couple who are volunteering for a year. They are the first CCS volunteers to extend beyond the normal 13 week limit. They are very pleasant and it will be nice to have someone else who speaks English who is here for a while. Like me they sold their house and got rid of most of their belongings... A couple of kindred spirits.

I applied for my international drivers licence a while back and received it in the mail yesterday (thanks Terri). I was very happy to get it and even more surprised at how fast it came. Less than 30 days. It is good for a year and begins on April Fools day. I hope that is not an omen.
