Indian Summer

We are in the middle of an Indian Summer which is called a Babea [ middle aged Rusian woman]summer in Russia. We are having days in the mid to upper 60's and nights in the 30's and 40's. This followed about two weeks of cold and rain where the sun was seldom seen. For the past week however it has been a beautiful sunny sky every day. We took this opportunity to winterize the dacha as we thought it might be our last chance before going to China next week. We were also concerned that our return on October 25th might be too late and the snow could have started already. So another summer at dacha comes to an end as we enjoy our favorite season of the year.
