A strange night on the Square in Krakow
Every night on the big square there were a lot of street performers. As we walked around one night we saw a crowd that was bigger than normal. As we drew nearer we saw an old man with a hand made cart which contained 5 small bundles of kindling wood and a bucket of white paint. As we watched he wrote these words on the pavement very slowly and delibertly. After he had finished and just at it got good and dark he took on of the bundles of wood off of his cart and slowly unbound the tiewire holding it together. He then started building a small pyrimad with the sticks. Several times they fell and he slowly picked them up until he had them just as he wanted them. Then he went back to the cart and got a pack of matches. After stepping over the still wet painted words he bent over and lit the wood. When he was satisfied that the flame had taken he went back to his cart and slowly left looking for another site. After several days we finally got someone to look at the photos and tell us what the words meant.
